⑥ that expectation of ～「そうした～という期待」 what S be supposed to be は 上で出てきた what S should be の言い換えです。これに people think が挿入された これも連鎖関係代名詞節です。「私たちがあるべき 人々が考える 姿」 good の前に that's を補って考えます。that は直前の文の内容。
⑦ That は直前の文の内容。 means の後ろに 名詞節を導く接続詞 that の省略。「それは ただ〜ということを意味する」 the ones = the girls。 get to do「(困難な中で何とか）〜することができる，～する機会を得る」 it は この場面での話題の中心を漠然と受ける it。人々が女の子に対して抱く 枠 box や 期待 expectation のことを指しています。
