反応的な人は，周りの物理的な環境に影響を受ける。天気が良ければ，気分も良くなる。ところが天気が悪いと気持ちがふさぎ，行動も鈍くなる。Reactive people are often affected by their physical environment. If the weather is good, they feel good. If it isn't, it affects their attitude and their performance.主体的な人は，自分の中に自分の天気を持っている。雨が降ろうが陽が照ろうが関係ない。自分の価値観に基づいて行動している。質の高い仕事をするという価値観を持っていれば，天気がどうであろうと仕事に集中できるのだ。Proactive people can carry their own weather with them. Wheter it rains or shines makes no difference to them. They are value driven; and if their value is to produce good quality work, it isn't a function of whether the weather is conductive to it or not.
