動名詞 を含む慣用表現 については「チャート式 基礎からの新々総合英語 ♠207」を一度まとめてチェックしておくとよい。
なかでも 以下の to は いずれも 前置詞 なので（to不定詞ではなく）動名詞（または名詞）が続くことに注意が必要です。

❑ look forward to ~ing：～するのを楽しいに待つ
❑ When it comes to ~ing：～することになると
❑ with a view to ~ing：～する目的で
❑ We came close to winning the championship last year.
❑ I think she is used to being the center of attention.
