中２英語の実際

以下の日本文を英語にできますか？　口頭で発すれば 英会話（Speaking），手紙に書けば 英作文（Writing）です。

『かや葺き屋根のために，こうした様式の家は簡単に火事になります。日に４回，人々は「火の用心！」と叫び，村中を歩き回ります。

　それに，防火訓練が村によって年に１回行われます。村の全員が訓練に参加します。家の多くは大きな放水銃さえ備えています。火事が広がるのを防ぐために使われているのです。』

Because of the thatched roof, this style of house catches fire easily.  Four times a day, people walk around the village and shout, "Be careful of fire!"

　Also, a fire drill is held once a year by the village.  Everyone in the village joins in the drill.  Many houses even have large water guns.  They are used to stop fire from spreading.
